About this Product Disclosure Statement

This Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) is issued by Flexewallet Pty Ltd, ABN 16 164 657 032, and it is designed to provide you with important information regarding the Hnry Visa Digital Debit Card (Card) and to assist you in deciding whether to acquire the Card. It is important that you read and understand this PDS.

The information in this PDS does not take into consideration your financial situation, objectives, or needs. Prior to making any decision about the Card or whether to acquire it, you should consider whether this product is right for you. Any advice in this PDS is general advice only and does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. The information in this PDS is current as September 2023 and may be updated from time to time where that information is not materially adverse to clients. General Description of Product

The Hnry individual Account BSB and account number provided for you will be linked to your Card and which you can use to top up value onto your Card. The Card can be topped up via bank transfer from your personal bank account linked to the Hnry account or through the allocation feature on your Hnry App. Any amounts transferred to the linked BSB and account number will be credited to your Hnry account and can be spent using the Card. You are responsible for checking your transactions history knowing the available balance for the Card, all which will be available to you on your device by accessing the Hnry App or Hnry website. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability of sufficient funds for all transactions.

The Card is not a credit or a charge Card, and the Card balance does not earn any interest. The available balance is not a savings or checking account. The acquisition of, or value loaded to the Card does not represent a deposit with, or investment in any of the parties involved in this product. The Card cannot be used at ATMs or over the counter at financial institutions to withdraw cash.

Parties involved in the Issuing and Distribution of the Card Card Issuer

The Card Issuer is Novatti Group Limited, ABN 98 606 556 183, pursuant to a licence by Visa WorldWide Pte Limited. Hnry is an Authorised Representative of Flexewallet Pty Ltd, ABN 16 164 657 032 which holds an Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL 448066), the issuer of this PDS. Through this arrangement HNRY is authourised to deal in, and provide general financial product advice in relation to, Non-Cash Payment Products.

Distributor

Hnry is authorised under a signed agreement with the Issuer to act as the Program Manager for the Card. Hnry is an authorised representative of the Issuer and is the distributor and promoter of the Card.

Hnry is responsible for providing certain cardholder services to you, including providing you with your Card, arranging for a replacement Card to be issued to you in accordance with the terms set out in this PDS, providing lost and stolen services and assisting you with any queries you may have regarding you use of your Card.

Benefits of the Product

There are some significant benefits to you associated with use of the Card, including:

  • You can use the available balance on your Card to pay for goods and/or services you receive from merchants in Australia and around the world that accept VISA Digital Debit Cards for electronic transactions.
  • The Card can be used to make purchases in other currencies.
  • The Hnry app also features Apple Pay and Google Pay which will enable you to pay for goods and/or services you receive from merchants in Australia and around the world that accept payment through such Digital wallet Services for electronic transactions. 
  • You can activate and lock/unlock your Card on the Hnry app, which also allows you to view your available balance and transactions and manage your app security settings.

Significant Risks

There are some significant risks associated with use of the Card that you should be aware of, including:

  • Unauthorised transactions can happen using the Card if the device is lost or stolen.
  • You may be liable for losses resulting from an unauthorised transaction under the T&CS of the product outlined in this PDS.
  • Unauthorised transactions could also occur via Apple Pay or Google Pay . You should ensure the security of any device linked to your Card.
  • Unintended transactions can happen if electronic equipment with which the Card is being used is operated incorrectly or incorrect details are input.
  • You may not be able to get your money back if unauthorised or unintended transactions occur.
  • If the electronic network enabling the use of the Card is unavailable, you may not be able to undertake transactions or obtain information about the Card. 
  • You may only spend up to the value of the available balance on the Hnry account. 
  • You cannot use the Card, or load value onto it after the Expiry Date.
  • The Card will expire on the date shown on the details of the Card.

Fees & Charges

  • We currently do not impose a fee for using your VISA Debit Card through a Digital Wallet Service but we reserve the right to impose a fee at our discretion in the future.
  • We do not charge any fees for using the card, however, to the extent permitted by law, some merchants may charge you for using the Card and such fees may be deducted from the balance of your card at the time of the transaction.

Disputed Transactions

  • Any refunds on Card transactions are subject to the policy of the specific merchant.
  • You cannot stop  a payment on any transaction after it has been completed. If you have a problem with a purchase made with the Card or a dispute with the merchant, you must deal directly with the merchant involved. If you can not resolve the dispute with the merchant, you can contact us on +61 2 7908 7898 (9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday)
