Introducing the Hnry Earnings Report 2025/26 – our first ever, and the first of many.

When we started Hnry, we set out to make life better for sole traders. We figured that would mostly happen through tax automation. Turns out we’re in a unique position to do a whole lot more.

Here’s the problem: sole traders, especially those just starting out, don’t always charge what they’re worth. Without a like-minded community to compare notes with, it’s hard to know what others in your industry actually earn.

So we crunched the numbers. The result is a transparent view of average earnings and income ranges across 116 work types.

Our hope? That it helps you benchmark your rates, back yourself and aim bigger.
